2022 Top Dogs
We had 78 entries into our 2022 Top Dog contest.
A popular vote was held on Facebook, where everyone voted for their favorite dogs. The top 12 from the popular vote received prizes from our sponsors, a photo session for their dog, an archival print, and were our models for the 2022 calendar with full proceeds being donated to Furry Friends Rocking Rescue.
We raised a total of $3,652 for Furry Friends Rocking Rescue!
Bismarcks’s Top Dog Photo Contest is a contest that brings awareness and fundraising to a local animal non-profit. This contest also give dog parents a chance to create archival quality portraits of their fur babies while supporting a great cause. Some amazing local businesses came together with ADP to donate prizes and help support the choosen non-profit.
Our chosen Non-Profit
The rescue was founded to alleviate overcrowding and unnecessary euthanization within the impound. We have branched out to take in owner surrenders and other animals found in dangerous situations.
We rely on the support of the community to help us provide services to animals. We strive to match the animal with the right home.
We also seek to educate the community regarding the importance of providing proper veterinary care to animals and having all their pets spayed or neutered.

Tessa’s Groom Room
Tessa’s Groom Room is a quiet and calm dog grooming salon in a professional setting in my home. After 14 years of experience in other grooming salons and a vet clinic, I decided to open my own salon to meet my goal of showing customers and their pets how they can be comfortable with the grooming process with a patient and kind groomer. So I created a small and quiet space for the dogs to help them feel at ease while we build a trusting relationship.
It all has been a dream come true for my family and I. This venture has provided me with the flexibility to take care of my family while still allowing me to be the groomer I want to be. The outpouring of love and loyalty from past clients and new clients has meant the world to me including being voted Bismarck Tribune’s 2021 Best of the Best Pet Grooming Facility.
I’ve also been blessed to be successful right from the beginning so I am not taking on any new clients currently. I am always willing to put new clients on a list for future openings plus I am always here for any grooming questions.
