Bismarck’s Top Dog Photo Contest
Bismarcks’s Top Dog Photo Contest is a contest that brings awareness and fundraising to a local animal non-profit. This contest also give dog parents a chance to create archival quality portraits of their fur babies while supporting a great cause. Some amazing local businesses came together with ADP to donate prizes, sponsor the calendars and help support the chosen non-profit, Kitty City.
Since we are supporting Kitty City this year, we have decided to include cats into this years contest and calendar!
To participate, submit your favorite recent photo of your dog or cat to contact@angeladianephotography.com by May 21st. Please read contest rules here before sending photo. Dog & cat parents will be offered a complimentary portrait session for their pet and can then submit the best photo into the contest.
A popular vote will be held on Facebook, where everyone can share their photo and allow their friends to vote. The top dogs and cats from the popular vote will receive prizes from our local sponsors. The top 6 dogs and 6 cats from the popular vote will receive a photo session for their pet, an archival print, and will be our models for the 2024 calendar with full proceeds being donated to Kitty City.
Calendars can be purchased after August 1st at the following locations.
• Nutrishop
• Cardens Custom Framing
• KT Animal Supply
Our chosen Non-Profit

Kitty City, established in 2016, is a free roam, cage free, self contained safe haven for disabled and FIV+ cats. Kitty City also traps and places healthy cats in permanent homes through adoption. The disabled and FIV+ cats at the Kitty City sanctuary are permanent residents, located in Mandan, ND. The Kitty City organization is funded strictly through donations and has no paid employees. They rely on your donations, volunteers and fosters.
Kitty City also operates a pet food pantry for those experiencing temporary hardships. We currently have 3 small curbside pantries located in Bismarck/Mandan area.
Kitty City is an addition to the Triple H Miniature Horse Rescue. Triple H Miniature Horse Rescue was founded by Steve and Alison Smith in 2007. Triple H not only takes in miniature equine, but full size equine, donkeys, pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits and ducks. The rescue/sanctuary for many, is a last stop last chance scenario. Many of the animals would have been euthanized or abandoned if there had not been a safe place for them to go. We provide end of life care and a place to retire.

NovaBean PetCare
New to Bismarck/Mandan but I started this business officially 6 years ago while living in Fargo. It started off small, mainly just my neighborhood but within a year it bloomed into something bigger than I ever imagined. I have always had a passion for animals ever since I can remember. NBPC offers detail-oriented pet care that is provided within your own home so your pets can remain as comfortable as possible while not disturbing their routines. I also have extensive experience from working in Veterinary Medicine with providing care for “medical needs pets” including administering various medications and managing Diabetic pets. Your pets get treated as if they were my own and you will get numerous updates to ease any anxiety you may have while being away from them.

Carden Custom Framing
For 30 years, Carden Custom Framing has remained the #1 establishment when it comes to preserving what matters to you.

Sophie’s Barkery
I am a full time pet sitter, owner of Sit-Stay-Play Pet Care LLC. I started making doggy birthday cakes for my clients 8 years ago. In the last four years I’ve added delicious dog treats and pupcakes. Everything is made from my home kitchen. My treats are made with minimal organic ingredients, but they are big on flavor. I’ve named this after my own sweet Boston Terrier Sophie. All items are tested and approved by her.
